This is a magnificent house of the middle of the 19th century which has a park of 35 acres enclosed and bordered by the wild river, the Meuse.
The hotel offers 25 different rooms including 4 duplex and 2 apartments. Some are overlooking the Park; the others are overlooking the Courtyard of the Castle. All of them provide the same comfort but are different in their space and their localisation.

World center of Peace, Freedoms and the Humans right
This center is a place of history and memory, located in the Episcopal palate which is classified historic building, and was drawn at the beginning of the XVIIIe century by Robert de Cotte, first architect of Louis XV. Saint-Simon quoted it in his memories like ' vastest and the most splendid Episcopal palate that there is in France'. When the bishop of Verdun yielded it in 1990 to the city, today capital world of peace, the palate was symbolically selected to be the seat of the World Center of Peace, Freedoms and the Humans right A permanent exposure invites the visitor with the reflexion on topics like the universal Declaration of the Humans right, UNO and Europe through the centuries. Place of exposures, it is also a place of meetings, reflexions and exchanges where conferences proceed, conferences, concerts, projections of films...
