Located at 1 mile from Saint-Four, nestled in a fresh and green valley, the Château de Varillettes, bordered by fields and woods, watches over the undulations of the Margeride hills. Dating back to the fifteenth century, built as a dungeon, this gentleman's country house remains today the witness of other times. We have preserved its authentic charm, by restoring its decoration in the sober manner of olden times. The medieval garden, its ornament, is designed by 6 squares of box-tree.
