World center of Peace, Freedoms and the Humans right
This center is a place of history and memory, located in the Episcopal palate which is classified historic building, and was drawn at the beginning of the XVIIIe century by Robert de Cotte, first architect of Louis XV. Saint-Simon quoted it in his memories like ' vastest and the most splendid Episcopal palate that there is in France'. When the bishop of Verdun yielded it in 1990 to the city, today capital world of peace, the palate was symbolically selected to be the seat of the World Center of Peace, Freedoms and the Humans right A permanent exposure invites the visitor with the reflexion on topics like the universal Declaration of the Humans right, UNO and Europe through the centuries.
