The Château d'Artigny has 65 rooms of 5 different categories, from the most elegant apartment to the most delightful room including junior suites, "Deluxe", "Superior" and "Traditional" rooms, located in the Château or just opposite in the Pavillon d'Ariane and the Cité des Parfums or even on the edge of the park at the Pavillon du Garde.
All the rooms are elegantly decorated in keeping with their location and enjoy modern comforts. They offer pleasant views over the Indre and its valley, the French garden, the Château or the park. |

The Fortress of the Black Falcon close the Chateau-hotel d'Artigny at Montbazon
This Fortress is the oldest donjon in France.
The terrible Foulque Nerra, count of Anjou, burned his wife and built a bloodthursty reputation for the pitiless slaughter of those who opposed him. But he was as violent as ahead on his time.
To become the master of Touraine at the end of Xth century, he built several fortresses and defense edifices, as the donjon of Montbazon in 994, and surrounded his ennemies. This was the beginning of the defense Castels in France.
The legend of Foulque Nerra, the black falcon, reborn with the restoration of his oldest fortress, the huge donjon of Montbazon.
