Musee des Beaux-Arts d'Arras
Housed in the former Abbey of Saint Vaast, the fine arts museum of Arras exhibits collections from Gallo-roman until 19th century.
The Anges de Saudemont, two gracious angels carved in wood from the 13th century, illustrates the valuable medieval sculpture. Paintings occupy also a large place from the 17th to the 19th centuries with fine works of La Hyre, Vignon, les Mays de Notre-Dame, Corot, Delacroix ; Last but not least, sumptuous porcelains will show you the 18th century production in Arras and Tournai.
