Right in the heart of the historical centre of Maastricht the 15th century Kruisheren-klooster (Crutched Friars Monastery has been inaugurated as a hotel in may2005. The Kruisherenhotel has 60 luxury rooms, each designed in a completely contemporary and innovative style and furnished by the internationally renowned Dutch interior architect Henk Vos (Maupertuus) and the world-famous light architect Ingo Maurer. In the Gothic church you will find the spacious lobby and most of the hotel facilities. Break-fast is served on the mezzanine which has been installed in the church. Seated here you are exactly at eye level with the large windows of the chancel and you can see Maastricht wake up. You also will find the reception area, three small conference rooms, a library, three lounge corners and an "espace vinicole" in the church.
The historical interior courtyard, where you can enjoy silence in the centre ofthe town, will in summer also be used to serve breakfast and it is also a suitable space for special occasions.
